Parenting tips from Rev. Kim Meyers
The Warren Center has a parent education event coming up, where families impacted by developmental disabilities and delays can meet other parents who receive services from The Warren Center and hear parenting tips from Rev. Kim Meyers. A light continental breakfast will be provided.
Meyers has a Bachelor of Science in Deaf Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She also has a Master of Arts in Ministry from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Event: Parenting with Perspective
About: Meyers is an expert parent educator with an optimistic outlook on life. Kim loves to inspire parents through the challenging tasks of life, while keeping it real! She will share her message that you have the skills and are fully capable and equipped for the task. Meyers strives to give parents hope along the journey through perspective. She will discuss looking at YOU as a parent, looking at WHO your child is (and isn’t), and working together as a family unit.
