What is a Social Media Ambassador?
Social media has become a valuable component to a successful ambassador and advocacy program. Social media advocacy is when employees, board members, advisors, volunteers or previous clients post about The Warren Center in a positive way on their personal accounts.
Why is There a Need for Ambassadors?
The Warren Center currently serves over 1,200 children every week, but the need is much greater. Over 100,000 children in Dallas County have been identified as having a developmental delay or disability. In less than five minutes a week, you can help children and families in our community reach their fullest potential.
How to Become a Social Media Ambassador
The Warren Center invites you to participate in increasing our reach into the community by becoming a Social Media Ambassador. Help raise awareness of The Warren Center on social media and at the same time, raise The Warren Center’s awareness of you, its supporter.
As a Social Media Ambassador, each month you’ll receive an email with insights on upcoming The Warren Center events, prepared campaign messaging and assets, important dates for re-sharing posts from The Warren Center and other advocacy information that you can post about on your social media pages to help us reach more people and serve more children! Find the posts that resonate with you, your audience and potential audience and add your own flair while advocating!
By participating in the Social Media Ambassadors program, you’ll receive several benefits:
- A periodic email with social media messaging and social media tips and tricks.
- Potential recognition on our digital platforms.
- Invitation to Special Events.
- An official Social Media Ambassador badge for your websites or locations.
To be considered for the Social Media Ambassadors program, you should:
Have at least one public social media profile, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram or a blog. Be able to post information about The Warren Center 6-12 times per year.
To become a Social Media Ambassador with The Warren Center,
