Thank you for considering a volunteer opportunity at The Warren Center!
Below, you will find detailed information about our volunteer opportunities
Translators – We are in need of bilingual individuals who can attend weekly therapy visits to interpret for families who speak languages other than English, Spanish, or Vietnamese. A background check is required as well as confidentiality training. Some of the languages in high demand are Burmese, Swahili, Arabic, Rohingya, Turkish, Kinyarwanda, Bengali, Persian and Korean.
Graduation – Held four times a year, these graduation ceremonies celebrate the children who have completed our Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program. Volunteers will help guide families and children throughout the registration process, or volunteers can provide snacks for the event.
Operation Santa – Held every December, Operation Santa is a family-centered event with holiday games, activities, snacks, and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. In addition, every child gets to leave with a toy from Santa himself. Volunteers will assist the day of, or by providing and helping with toy donations, gift-wrapping, supplies for fun activities and day-of volunteers.
Event Committee Participation – We have special events throughout the year that benefit the children and families of The Warren Center. We need committee members to help make these events happen.
Fantasy Football – Held every August, this fundraiser combines fun competition with the opportunity to help children with special needs reach their full potential. We need event volunteers and silent auction items.
Handyman or Handywoman – We’ve always got something needing a little work here!
Office/Admin – We need volunteers to assist our front office staff with copying, filing, organizing and more.
Child Care for Family Education & Support -Volunteers are needed for our Recess program. Recess is held eight times a year for three hours. Volunteers will have the opportunity to mentor a small group of children through an outside activity, storytime, art activity, and imaginative play. All volunteers are required to complete a background check.

The group will host service-related projects and various networking events throughout the year.
